Apple与知名手游《Fortnite》的开发商Epic Games近日因为App内支付等问题而矛盾重重，而Apple现在更是正式出手，不仅仅是《Fortnite》下架，这次更是直接终止了Epic Games的开发者账号，旗下的其他手游也都从App Store下架！
Apple向美国媒体确认，已经在美国时间的8月28日终止了Epic Games的App Store开发者下架，他们所发表的游戏如《Fortnite》、《Infinity Blade》和《Battle Breaker》都已经全数在iOS的App Store正式下架。
Apple在一则声明中提到，他们对于终止Epic Games开发者账号这件事感到失望，他们与Epic Games合作多年，法院在审理案件时建议Epic跟随App Store的政策，其中包括了一些他们已经跟随了十年的政策，然而最近发生了如此的局面，Epic却拒绝听从。

对此决定，Fortnite的CEO Tim Sweeeney表示Apple没有必要终止Epic的账号，其中也提到他们已经将新的Fortnite v14.0版本上交到App Store审查，当中仍然包括了Epic以及Apple两个渠道的支付方式，当中也包括了一些bug修复，以及第四赛季的更新等。
封杀Epic Games的影响不仅仅是几个游戏下架那么简单，用于开发游戏的Unreal Engine也是出自Epic Games之手，之前就有消息指出若Apple封杀可能会影响到其他透过Unreal Engine开发的游戏，不过法院裁定认为Apple不应该影响其他游戏，而目前Unreal Engine的开发者账户暂时不受影响，对于其他游戏的玩家来说算是个值得庆幸的消息。
