最近几星期以来，各大媒体都争相报道Epic Games和Apple之间因为Fortnite的问题而进行斗争角力，而最近Epic Games又有了新动作，那就是将在来临的8月23日举办一场名为 #FreeFortnite 的比赛，而获胜的玩家就有机会赢得非Apple的电子产品作为奖励。

Epic Games在今天（8月21日）在官方Twitter上宣布，将在来临的8月23日在Fortnite上举办一场名为【#FreeFortnite】的比赛，在宣传和文字上都很明显的把矛头指向Apple，以讽刺Apple近期在App Store上下架Fortnite的举动。
Epic也在文章还提醒玩家表示说，下赛季将会在8月27号开始，碍于iOS用户无法针对Fortnite进行升级，对此想要参加下赛季比赛的用户，Epic建议玩家使用其他平台继续参加比赛。
Epic表示在比赛中玩家有机会赢得众多奖品就包括了，Tart Tycoon套装、印有 #FreeFortnite 可调节的鸭嘴帽、Samsung Galaxy Tab S7、OnePlus 8、Xbox One X、Nintendo Switch等丰富礼品。
